Current registration, title, or name and address of lienholder, or copy of lease agreement, proof of insurance and odometer reading are required.

Driver's License
New residents have 30 days after establishing residency to get a Georgia driver's license.
With a valid out-of-state license, you will only need to take a vision test. First-time drivers must also take a Georgia road test and a written test.
A four-year license for driving passenger cars costs $15.00 ($8.00 if you choose to be an organ donor). A learner's permit costs $10.00. Fees must be paid in cash. Licenses are issued by the Georgia Department of Public Safety at designated testing sites.
